THE AFFILIATE MANAGER
The Affiliate Manager creates business relationships between the brand and affiliates to extend revenue channels.
To develop quality traffic and ensure a return on investment, the affiliate manager must research and prospect potential affiliates/partners, and rank them according to their relevance and affinity with the brand.
The affiliate manager is then responsible for advising on media investments, the type of campaign to be carried out, and the development and optimization of the affiliate network.
The affiliate manager manages each file from A to Z: from setting up the affiliate program to follow-up.
The affiliate manager regularly reports to the marketing department or the customer on the profitability and performance of the affiliate programs he/she sets up.
His various responsibilities:
– Developing an effective affiliate marketing strategy– Define and recruit affiliate targets
– In charge of developing partnerships with various company-related websites.
– Follow up or not on partnership requests received
WHERE DOES AN AFFILIATE MANAGER WORK?
An affiliate manager may work for web agencies, performance marketing agencies,
affiliate platforms, or within an advertiser’s web department.
